The Femme Cup Creator Club

It’s our first ever call for women who want to try a sustainable way to handle periods! Here’s everything you need to know.

What is the Mike Charlie Femme Cup?

The Femme Cup is a medical-grade, reusable, eco-friendly menstrual cup designed for women who want a mindful, sustainable alternative to pads or tampons. It’s soft, comfortable, and lasts for years when cared for properly.

Who is the Femme Cup for?

The Femme Cup is for all women. It’s thoughtfully designed with active bodies in mind — athletes, dancers, swimmers, skaters, divers, and women who move through life with energy and intention.

Because it’s comfortable and secure, it’s also ideal for working women in the city, busy students, and anyone seeking a sustainable alternative to disposable pads, which can cause odor, leaks, and discomfort.

The Femme Cup offers a cleaner, safer, and more eco-conscious experience — without the common hassles of traditional period products.

How to use:

A gentle, beginner-friendly guide for your first cycle

1. Sterilize every beginning of your menstrual cycle.

Boil water and place the cup inside for 3–5 minutes. Let it cool completely before handling. (Kindly set aside a small boiler separately for femme cup use only)

2. Find your fold.

There’s no single “correct” way. Try a few and see which one feels most natural to your body.

3. Insert gently.

Take your time. Relax your shoulders. Breathe. Find a position that feels comfortable for you. Beginners often try:
• raising one leg
• a gentle squat
• sitting on the toilet

Cup Insertion

Insert the folded cup slowly. Once it’s inside, do a light abdominal push — the kind you do when you’re about to cough or steady your breath. This soft pressure encourages your pelvic muscles to open just enough for the cup to pop fully into place. Give the base a small twist to help it open and form a proper seal. Once you feel the cup “pop,” soften your breath and relax.

4. Check the placement.

The tail should sit near the vaginal opening, close enough to reach but never poking out or causing discomfort.
If it feels too low or you feel pressure, remove and try again until it sits comfortably. With practice, placement becomes intuitive.

5. Wear time.

You can safely use the Femme Cup for 8-10 hours, depending on your flow.
Many girls empty it in the morning and before bed.

6. How to remove:

Relax and breathe deeply — tension makes removal harder.
Gently squat, and pinch the base of the cup to break the seal. Slowly pull it out, empty cup, rinse, and you may use it again.

8. Clean with a gentle feminine wash.

A gentle feminine wash can be used every other day to clean the cup.

P.S.

This guide is meant to help you get started. Every menstruating person has a unique body and routine, so explore and follow what feels most comfortable for you.

This is just a guide...

You may also learn which cup size suits you best over time. Some users keep two sizes on hand for flexibility during different flow days or life stages.

When inserted correctly, the cup forms a secure seal that prevents leaks, whether you're resting, working, or staying active.
